- Name: Tom Rampton
- Location: Nathrop, Colorado, United States
I'm a writer, photographer, and an independent publisher. I've mostly done river guidebooks, but also wrote and photographed Vietnam in the Absence of War about that country and about bicycling there. I'll be working on a book of photographs across the whole United States along or near Highway 50, and another about the building of a motorglider that's now in progress. I encourage comments on this blog. It's the only way I can tell whether anybody's been here.

Hey Tom, glad to see and hear that you had a good and safe trip. Your photos brough back memories of my trip in 98. My sister's permit got pulled in the consolidation last year so I hope be going again in the next few years. Take care, ttyl, Thomas
